Piano lessons at DGAI Music School
DGAI Music School is an institution for music education, organization and presentation with a focus on urban cultures. In the context of talent development, identity, citizenship and heritage, DGAI Music School provides in-school and extra-curricular music education.
DGAI Music School teaches piano, guitar, violin, drums, vocals and hip hop culture. The aim of DGAI Music School is to make extracurricular music education accessible to all Amsterdam children.
DGAI Music School gives music lessons at various locations in Amsterdam Southeast and East, often within walking distance for students. The classes, private as well as in group format, are led by professional musicians.
- BLOCK 1 Introduction to the piano as a musical instrument, basic technique of playing a musical instrument, teamwork, attitude.
- BLOCK 2 Basic technique playing musical instrument, teamwork, improvisation techniques, developing creativity, attitude, singing during piano playing, developing concept final presentation.
- BLOCK 3 Repeat block 1 and block 2, carry out draft final presentation in collaboration with other disciplines.
What is unique about our music school is the focus on urban cultures, such as hip-hop, and that we teach children in the neighborhood in an accessible way.
Every year we organize a concert with final presentations for the parents!
