Jeugdtheaterschool TIJ Summertheaterweek 2

Are you between 8 and 12 years old and have you always wanted to play in a real performance? Maybe you have a lot of experience in theater plays and you also want to continue during the holidays. Then Summer Theater Week 2 is definitely for you!

Together with the teacher, the students work on theater skills and playing fun. When the weather is nice, we will of course go outside to play (water) games, to rehearse and have lunch.

Within 4 days, the students work towards a beautiful performance under the guidance of one of our regular teachers. They do this on the basis of a theme.

This time the theme is: YOU!

Have you ever looked closely at someone else? I mean really looked. Have you ever wondered why that old man is always standing at the bus stop? Where would he go? And where does he come from? What are the stories of the people around you?

The group of Summer Theater Week 2 sets to work based on these questions. You can admire the end result on Friday 26 August, when we invite the public to view the performance.

If you really enjoy playing and making theater, be sure to take a look at Summer Theater Week 1. We work from a different theme, which makes it very suitable to participate in both weeks.
