Individual violin and viola lessons for children and young people in Amsterdam

At StringLab Studio, I offer individual violin and viola lessons for children and young people aged 4 to 17. Whether your child is picking up a violin for the very first time or has already been playing for a while, every lesson is personally tailored to their level, their goals and their enjoyment.

For young beginners (ages 4–8), fun always comes first. Lessons are short and playful, using games, stories and simple exercises that keep children excited to practise at home. There's no rush, we build confidence step by step.

For older children and teenagers (ages 9–17), we work together on technique, tone production and musicality. We choose pieces they actually enjoy, from classical to film music, so every student stays motivated and inspired to keep growing.
